To criss-cross around the boundaries of musical category but not to take it all too seriously.

Why did you decide to start making music?
Listening to heaps and heaps of great records growing up made me want to take my own shot.

What are your most important musical influences?
David Bowie (Hunky Dory & The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust), Death From Above 1979 (and what Jesse F Keeler went on to do) & The Big Day Out.

And finally, why Robert Luke & not Andrew Gray?
Robert Luke is my two middle names and also the name of my grandfather. I chose that name as a tribute to him.
